Description
A Danish rosewood side table by Pedersen & Hansen from the 1970s, combining the warm, richly grained material with the clean, low-profile form that defines the best Scandinavian furniture of the period. Two drawers provide practical storage while keeping the silhouette uncluttered — a balance that makes this kind of piece work as well in a contemporary interior as it does alongside other period Danish furniture.
At just over 35 inches wide and 17.5 inches tall, it works equally well as a sofa table, an entryway console, a low credenza in a bedroom, or a media surface where its horizontal proportions help anchor the wall. The rosewood grain does the visual work without the piece having to ask for attention.
