Description
A set of three Danish oak and tile nesting tables designed by Henning Kjærnulf and tile by Edmund Pedersen — a combination that represents some of the most considered small-scale furniture to come out of Denmark during the mid-century period. The tile tops are in excellent condition, and the warm oak frames carry the clean lines and honest joinery characteristic of Kjærnulf’s work.
Nesting tables like these are one of those genuinely useful formats: stored together they take up minimal space and read as a single sculptural object; pulled apart, they provide flexible surface area wherever it’s needed. A strong choice for a living room where the furniture arrangement changes with use, or anywhere a side table needs to work harder than a fixed piece allows.
