Description
A substantial Art Deco Swedish burlwood sideboard produced in the 1930s, combining the rich figured grain of burlwood with the streamlined symmetry and restrained ornament that defines Scandinavian Art Deco at its best. At 72.25 inches wide and 32.5 inches tall, it has the scale of a serious piece of furniture — the kind that defines a dining room wall rather than decorating it.
The burlwood veneer gives the surface a depth and movement that flat-grained pieces simply don’t achieve, and the warm figuring reads differently at every angle and in every light. Locking doors, functional drawers, and fixed interior shelves make it as practical as it is beautiful. Key present for all locks.
