Description
A set of six Danish pine dining chairs in the style of Daumiller, dating to the 1970s — two arm chairs and four side chairs. The defining feature is the semi-lunar backrest: a graceful half-moon form that gives each chair its quiet, sculptural presence and marks it as a product of Scandinavian modernism at its most considered. Raw, aged pine throughout, with the warm, unfinished patina that only comes with decades of honest use.
Joints are secure on all six chairs. Marked to the underside. This is the kind of set that works as well around a farmhouse table as it does in a more composed dining room — the simplicity travels.
