Bert England for Johnson Furniture Armchair. This chair has all the things going for it. Brass, wood, cane and a time capsule of a piece right out of the mid-century. It’s in gorgeous shape for its age (who wouldn’t want to look so young after 70 years).

Overall measures 25″w, 28″h and 21″d
Seat dimensions of 20.5″w, 15.5″h and 19″d
Arm rests are 22.5″h

The caning is in excellent condition as is the brass. Wood shows normal wear consistent with age and use (see photos). The cushion is original and could use new foam (crunchy, but functional) – current upholstery in excellent condition, no zipper. There is one spot of discoloration on the chair seat fabric itself.
