Description

A tall Danish oak bookcase in the manner of Henning Kjærnulf, produced in the 1970s and combining open shelving with a pair of lower drawers — the kind of practical, well-resolved storage format that defined the best Scandinavian case goods of the period. At just over 72 inches tall and 35.5 inches wide, it has the scale to anchor a wall in a living room, home office, or library while remaining restrained enough not to dominate the space.

The adjustable top and bottom shelves allow the storage to be configured for books, objects, or a mix of both. The lower drawers add concealed storage that keeps the overall profile from feeling purely functional. The warm oak and clean lines work naturally alongside other Danish Modern pieces or in a contemporary interior where natural wood and vertical scale are welcome.
