There’s something about making a sacred space. Fill it with the things you love, things that bring peace. Be intentional about what you bring home. And I’ve seen all of this in you. It’s wonderful to chat with you and know you have “just the spot” for a piece or that you’ve been looking for “just this piece”. Sometimes, there are stories to pass along with a dresser, or set of chairs or that one set of little trinket trays. We’re perpetuating the good side of history. Family stories, acts of love (yes, even that dresser painted black was an act of love in the 1950’s for his Polynesian bride – refinished in my wood shed, third image below).
